Description
A huge old and rusty diesel engine used as a generator on the Independence Mine site in Alaska. The independence Mine is located on Hatchers Pass, outside of Wasilla Alaska. During its peak there were more than 200 workers here digging and blasting for gold. More than 140,000 ounces of gold were found before the mine was shut down as WW II broke out.
